The women, trans, and nonbinary people we serve at the Victory Connector have deeply complex needs. Whether they come to the program for referrals to services or simply for a place to rest their head, our dedicated team works tirelessly to create a space where these individuals can feel safe and supported. Meg von Lossnitzer, Director of Prevention, said it best,

“While our goal remains to increase stability, decrease tension, and offer better help, it also includes a place for those not yet ready for that step of any kind to be safe, to be seen, and to be known. We will sit here with you and wait. We will bring all the granola bars you need, and we will hold out hope for you, with you, that someday, life could look different.”

To our esteemed speakers – Brian Foran, Dr. Bisola Ojikutu, Deirdre Calvert, Julie Burns, Naika Williams, Meg von Lossnitzer, Rich Baker, and Craig Robbins – your words resonated deeply, inspiring us to continue our relentless pursuit of serving our community with complete care and compassion.

Special appreciation goes out to Elle Simone Scott and Sāsha Coleman for their culinary delights that left a lasting impression on all who indulged in your creations! Thank you for your hard work.

Additionally, we extend our gratitude to Tito’s Handmade Vodka for their generous contribution of cocktails and mocktails for the evening.

And last but certainly not least, we are truly grateful to our many sponsors who made this event possible:
